The Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture implements part of its mission by applying laws and programs on which it has exclusive competence and in particular the Law 717/49 "Regulations for art in public buildings" (better known as the "Law of 2%"), Law 633/41"Protection of copyright and other rights related to its exercise" and Law 512/82"Taxation of assets of significant cultural interest".
